Hourly Metrics

Daily performance data is useful, but it can hide the real story of when your audience is most engaged. The Hourly Metrics tool lets you zoom in and see exactly how your ads perform, hour by hour. This is the key to finding your "golden hours" and optimizing your ad schedule for maximum impact.

How to Use the Hourly Metrics Analyzer

The interface is split into two parts: the control panel at the top for filtering your data, and the interactive chart below where you'll see the results.

Step 1: Choose What to Analyze

Use the filters in the control panel to narrow down your analysis:

  • Ad Account, Campaign Group, and Campaign: Start broad with an entire ad account or drill down to see the hourly patterns of a single campaign. The filters are hierarchical, so you'll select an account first, then a campaign group, and so on.
  • Date Range: Pick a preset range (like the last 7 days) or use the calendar to select a custom period. Analyzing a longer period can help you find more consistent patterns.
  • Metric Selector: This is where you choose the key performance indicators (KPIs) you want to investigate. You can select several metrics at once to see how they relate to each other on an hourly basis (for example, Clicks and Cost per Click).

Step 2: Read the Chart

The line chart visualizes your selected metrics for each hour of the day.

  • Find Your Peaks: Look for the high points on the chart. If you're looking at "Clicks," the peaks show you the hours your audience is most actively clicking on your ads.
  • Hover for Details: Move your mouse over any point on the chart to see a tooltip with the exact metrics for that specific hour.
  • Compare Metrics: With multiple metrics selected, you can easily see trade-offs. For example, you might find that your highest click-through rate (CTR) occurs at a different time than your lowest cost per click (CPC).

Putting Your Insights into Action

Once you've identified your peak performance hours, what's next?

The real power comes when you take these insights to the Schedules feature. You can create a custom schedule that tells Linklo to run your campaigns only during those top-performing hours, ensuring your budget is spent when it's most likely to drive results.
